We will keep all your information confidential and will not share this information with any third parties (other than those detailed below) .  Your information will only be stored on our secure server and no other third party will have access to this information.  At no time do we collect your credit or debit card details, for more information please see below.

What information do we collect about you?

During the shopping process we will need to collect information about you.  The information that we collect will be your full name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and email address.  We do not collect any credit or debit card details.  Please see the relevant paragraph below.

What do we use this information for?

We will use this information to complete the despatch of your order and to keep you informed of it’s progress from packing until delivery.

If you have signed up for our newsletter then we will use your email address to update you with offers and discount vouchers that may become active and may be applicable for you.

How do we store your information?

Your details will be held on our secure server and will fully comply with the UK Data Protection and any consumer legislation.  If any secure information about you is requested from the secure server then it is encrypted before access using  256-bit, next generation SSL (1024bit).  This is about twice the statuary minimum.

How long do we keep this information?

We keep your information for 12 months after your last purchase.  This is so that the information is easily obtainable should you have any warranty issues. Please send and email to [email protected] if you would like the information removing sooner than this.  Please send the request to remove data using the email address that is associated with the account

Who do we share your personnel information with?

We will only share your personnel information with other companies that are needed to complete the supply of your order and those that monitor the service level that we supply.  As an example we will share your name, delivery address and email address with UPS ( United Parcel Service) , DPD and the Royal Mail. 

How do we store your credit card information?

While selecting items in our online store the site runs as open and not secure.  As soon as you move to the checkout or login to your account the information is encrypted.  This does slow browsing down.  Once you have entered your name address and other personnel information you will be given the option to pay via Sagepay or Secure trading.  Your personnel information including the shopping cart are transmitted to Sagepay or Secure trading using 256 bit next generation encryption.  Sagepay or Secure trading will take your credit card details and transmit this to your bank so that an authorisation code can be obtained.  Once this has been completed Sagepay or Secure Trading will transmit back to our site your order with a reference number.  Included in this transmission will be the banks details, the expiry date of the card and the last 4 digits of the card.  At no point do we have access to this information.  Telephone orders will involve an assistant taking your credit card details.  The sales staff do not write these details down and all paper used in the office is shredded securely at the end of each working day.

Advertising or Tracking Cookies

We at use a tracking cookie supplied by Google called Google analytic.  This is a first level tracking cookie and is unlikely to create a privacy risk. 

The information stored in this cookie is quite complex however the information in the cookie does not contain any of your personal information other than your shopping path.  The cookie has a 30 day life.

The cookie will contain the web site or advert that you came from, your ip address,your approximate location in the world,the easy-irrigation page that you landed on.  the number of pages that you viewed, the time that you spent on our site.  If you purchase an item from easy-irrigation then Google analytic will remember your order number, the amount you spent.  For more information about Google privacy policy please click here
