Large Area Spray Heads
Large are spray heads in general are less accurate and apply a large quantity of water over a shorter period of time. Each nozzle details it water usage per hour. This is quite critical when using mains water and is most cases a domestic supply will have a flow rate of about 1200 lph with a pressure of about 3 bar although this is impossible to measure without a pressure gauge. From the information above we can see that if we were to use a sprinkler that is using 900 lph we would have very little water pressure. The pressure is what we need in order to throw the water and work the sprinkler. So from a mains water supply it would be better to choose a lower rate per hour, say 500 lph and apply the water at a slower rate so that the sprinkler works correctly
