Hose Pipes
The most common question that we are currently being asked is when is a hose pipe not a hose pipe. This relates to the current hose pipe ban that prevents households from using their hose in the garden. A hose is not classed as a hose when it is used as a water pipe. So if your tap has a water timer and then the hose and the hose links from the tap to your pressure compensated drip pipe then in this situation it is classed as a water pipe and so falls in the exemptions which apply to drip irrigation.
