Tavlit Push Fit 3 Way Connector 16mm - 3/4" BSP
This is a high grade heavy duty push fit fitting 16mm external diameter 4 bar pipe or with Netafim 16mm pressure compensated drip pipe.
Tavlit fittings are more expensive than the standard fitting however they are made to a much higher standard and so are more resistant to damage when trodden on or moved. Tavlit fittings are made from Acetal which makes them much stronger and more able to hold the sharp barbs in place

When using any water fitting that is push fit then please follow the instructions below to ease fitting. Practice the procedure below with a short offcut
1. Cut the 16mm pipe to length. Make sure that the cut is nice and square.
2. Heat the pipe very gently. A bowl of boiling or hot water is suitable or alternatively use a flame of some description and dip the end of the pipe in to the flame for a very short length of time (about 1 second)
3. Push the Tavlit fitting into the pipe as far as it will go and allow the pipe to cool. As it shrinks on to the fitting it will be near impossible to pull it off, indeed the fitting should now be good to pressures as high as 90 psi (6 bar)
