Tavlit Nutlock Fittings 25mm
Tavlit Nut Lock fittings are for use on LDPE pipe. LDPE pipe has a thinner wall and a lower pressure rating plus is not suitable for installation below ground. LDPE can be used on or near the surface of the soil and is an ideal pipe to used for irrigation as the inside diameter of the pipe is larger and so reduces the amount of friction in the pipe.
Tavlit Nut lock fittings are a cross between a barbed and a compression fitting. Inside the fitting is barbed. The 25mm outside diameter LDPE pipe will slide over these barbs. When the nut is then tightened the pipe is forced on to the barbs making a perfect joint with a much higher pressure rating than a standard barbed fitting . Tavlit Nut lock fittings are made in Italy.
